Job Description

Account Manager required for our client - a leading supplier of hardware and gardening products in Cradley Heath.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as an Account Manager within a busy and growing Sales Office. Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Person, who possesses great telesales and account management experience. An established, active account base of over 200 active accounts is waiting to be grown and developed!
Whilst the position is office based, the account manager will be required to spend time out of the office visiting customers to strengthen and develop relationships and bring on new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Growing existing accounts.
• Reactivating lapsed accounts.
• Reaching sales targets
• Regular contact with all allocated customer contacts
• Chasing Leads
• Quoting customers
• Desk based outbound telesales and relationship building
• Liaising with customers via the telephone and E–mail
• Hitting monthly sales growth targets on a consistent basis.
• Visiting customers

Account Manager Essential Skills:

• Strong sales skills
• Previous experience with telesales
• Strong communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Internal Account Manager Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the Hardware/Fixings & Fastener industry
• Knowledge of CRM systems


This is a permanent position of 40 hours per week

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Monday-Friday

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum dependent on experience. Plus uncapped commission
